Raising Cane’s is doubling down on its presence in Southern California with the opening of its first California flagship restaurant.
It’s a stadium-inspired destination in Inglewood designed to capitalize on the area’s growing status as a sports and entertainment hub.
The new restaurant sits directly across from Intuit Dome and near SoFi Stadium and YouTube Theater. The opening comes as Los Angeles prepares to host a slate of major global sporting events over the next several years, including the 2028 Summer Olympics, and as Raising Cane’s continues an aggressive expansion push across the market.
The multi-story restaurant is the brand’s sixth flagship location, joining locations in New York City, Las Vegas, Chicago, Miami, and Nashville. Additional flagships are planned for San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf later this year and London’s Piccadilly Circus in 2027.
Unlike traditional Raising Cane’s restaurants, the Inglewood flagship is heavily focused on entertainment. A 106-by-108-foot halo structure wraps the exterior of the building and incorporates a 10-by-92-foot LED display. Inside, guests are greeted by a suspended 308-square-foot oval video display connecting the first and second floors, along with a 19-by-22-foot digital screen capable of displaying 3D visual effects.
The restaurant also features several custom art installations, including a mirrored “Disco Dog” sculpture created with California artist Sofie Berarducci, a reimagined version of the chain’s signature Broken Brick Mural, and an oversized Raising Cane’s cup that functions as a high-top table on the second floor.
Aside from design elements, the flagship is positioned to capture event-driven traffic. It includes a walk-up ordering window facing Century Boulevard, allowing guests to quickly grab food before concerts, sporting events, and other gatherings at nearby venues.
The Inglewood opening arrives during a significant growth period for the chicken finger chain in Los Angeles. Earlier this year, Raising Cane’s opened its 1,000th restaurant on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and recently debuted a location on Santa Monica’s Third Street Promenade. Additional restaurants are scheduled to open this summer in Westwood and at Sunset Boulevard and Tamarind Avenue in Hollywood.
Raising Cane’s has more than 1,000 locations worldwide and plans to open nearly 100 units this year.
