CHALLENGE:
High ceilings open to deck + beautiful glass windows + common area for students = the perfect formula for noise issues.
SOLUTION:
The designer’s concept was for various sized, layered acoustical clouds to create visual impact and counter that perfect storm for noise issues. AEC designed and fabricated large panels that hung from the structure by all-thread and unistrut. The light weight frames were designed to be the skeleton to hold the fabric, track and acoustical core.
